cryptid in july poetry day 12, the sandown clown
a poem about sandown clown
at night
every four hours
i wake up
on my deflated
air mattress
i spend an hour
blowing it back
up with my tiny
red triangle mouth
i lay
back in bed and think
of small creatures coughing
and wait for sleep
